De Sandberg California TT Masterpiece in Roquefort Blue is een instrument voor bassisten die weten wat ze willen: een bas met karakter, uitstraling en de toonflexibiliteit om in elke muzikale context te excelleren. De Masterpiece-afwerking met subtiele relic-details geeft deze TT een tijdloze, authentieke look die direct opvalt – zonder dat het ten koste gaat van de bouwkwaliteit waarvoor Sandberg bekend staat.

De twee Delano single-coil pickups leveren een open, muzikale sound met warme lows, aanwezige mids en een heldere top-end. Dankzij de actieve 2-band EQ heb je directe controle over hoog en laag, waardoor je de toon nauwkeurig kunt afstemmen op de stijl van het moment – van strakke funk en soul tot expressieve rock en veeleisend studiowerk. De combinatie van passieve pickupkarakter met actieve toonvorming geeft je het beste van twee werelden.

De body is vervaardigd uit Alder, een houtsoort die bekendstaat om zijn gebalanceerde frequentierespons en lichte gewicht (3,72 kg). De 6-bolt Canadian Hard Rock Maple hals met Maple fretboard, 14'' radius en 22 frets speelt comfortabel en snel, terwijl de White Block Pearl inlays en Aged Nickel tuners de vintage esthetiek completeren. De 34'' mensuur (864 mm) biedt de vertrouwde spanning en articulatie die professionele bassisten verwachten. Geleverd met gigbag.

Different mounting mechanism than photos

I'm going to start off this review by stating that the mounting mechanism used on the Shelf is different than the one shown in the photo. In the photo, it shows a single bar which would have made the Shelf easier to level however, the product I received has two separate bars which means I have to be extra careful holding a level against the paper. Stencil. The reason I chose this product over different listings was because for a dollar or two more its photo showed a single bar. Now for the pros and cons: Pros: Accurate measurement. Shelf appears to be actual wood! The photos made it looks like a veneer, which it is not. Easy to install. Includes good instructions. Seems like it can hold items fairly well. Cons: The mounting hardware for drywall pretty flimsy, and I stripped out some of the drywall anchors during install. They still worked, but it was annoying to finish inserting them. The shelf doesn't sit fully flush to the wall from factory as the screws included make it protrude slightly. I can fix this with my dremel, However, This could have been solved from the factory by making the cavity slightly deeper. As mentioned above in my main detractor, it is a two bar mounting system rather than a one bar, which was shown in the photo.

They have an unfinished feel, and the underside screws used to hold the shelf on the poles strip out really easy. Tighten those by hand and with care. Other than that, they look great and were easy to install. Came with a full set of hardware including anchors for various wall types. Stable enough to hold small to medium sized Lego sets (don't try to put Lego Hogwarts size kits on them--not big enough). Bought 3 sets of 4 and used others as Book shelves. They work very well for novel size or paperback sized books. Just make sure you anchor them well into the wall. These will only be as good as the installation.

Thé shelves are good quality and easy to hang. Thé instructions do leave a bit to be desired as they misidentify which anchor to use for dry wall. I followed instructions for the first shelf and it was not very stable. I switched to the other anchors and it was great. All hardware in included. These require minimum size holes in your wall, but it is a floating shelf so be prepared to patch when you take them down.  It’s a set of 4 so a good value!
