⚙️ Installation (Quick Steps)
  1. Windows: plug in → auto-install or use included driver CD → connect.
  2. macOS: install driver from included CD (if required) → reboot → connect.
  3. Linux: plug in → check interface → install DKMS driver if needed (see below).

On many laptops, internal Wi-Fi is wlan0; the external USB adapter is often wlan1 or wlan2.

🧩 Linux Driver Install (RTL8812AU) — Quick Commands

If your Linux distro does not load the driver automatically:

lsusb
sudo apt update
apt search 8812au
sudo apt install realtek-rtl88xxau-dkms
sudo modprobe 88XXau

Replug the adapter or reboot if the interface does not appear immediately.

If there is absolutely no way to connect to the internet for Terminal/command installation, a mini CD with the Linux driver files (usually a .zip or .tar.gz archive) is included with each unit.

Before You Start (Important)

  • You may need temporary internet access (Ethernet or another Wi-Fi adapter) to install build tools.
  • You need sudo (administrator) access.
  • Secure Boot should be disabled (many Realtek drivers won’t load with Secure Boot enabled).

Step 1 — Mount the CD (if it doesn’t auto-mount)

lsblk
sudo mount /dev/sr0 /mnt

Step 2 — Copy the Driver Archive to Your Home Folder

The driver is usually a .zip or .tar.gz file.

cp /mnt/*.zip ~/
# or
cp /mnt/*.tar.gz ~/

Unmount the CD:

sudo umount /mnt

Step 3 — Extract the Archive

cd ~

# ZIP:
unzip rtl*.zip

# TAR.GZ:
tar -xvf rtl*.tar.gz

cd rtl*

Step 4 — Install Required Build Tools (Debian/Ubuntu/Kali/Mint)

sudo apt update
sudo apt install -y build-essential dkms linux-headers-$(uname -r)

Step 5 — Compile & Install the Driver

Most Realtek driver folders support one of these methods:

Option A (common):

sudo make
sudo make install

Option B (DKMS — preferred if included):

sudo ./dkms-install.sh

Step 6 — Load the Driver Module

sudo modprobe -r 88XXau 8812au 8811au 8188eu
sudo modprobe 88XXau

Note: module names can vary by driver package. If 88XXau doesn’t load, try: sudo modprobe 8812au or sudo modprobe 8811au.

Step 7 — Verify the Adapter Is Detected

lsusb
ip a
iwconfig

(Optional) Kali — Quick Monitor Mode Check

sudo airmon-ng
sudo airmon-ng start wlan1

After Linux Updates (Important)

If Wi-Fi stops working after a kernel update, run:

sudo dkms autoinstall

Then reboot.

Apple Pencil (USB-C): Device Compatibility Check Required
I’m extremely happy with this Apple Pencil! It connected to my iPad quickly and works flawlessly. The writing and drawing experience feels smooth and natural, almost like writing on paper. It’s very responsive with no lag, and the battery life is excellent. Perfect for note-taking, sketching, editing, and everyday productivity. The quality definitely matches the price, and it has made using my iPad so much more convenient. Highly recommend for students, creatives, or anyone wanting to get more out of their iPad.

Perfect if you want to use Procreate
I wasn’t sure if this would work as well as the regular iPencil, because I had read this one doesn’t have features the more expensive one has. And I have to say, whatever those extra features are I’m not missing them! This works great, it’s very accurate, amazing quality. Considering how much I’m using it in Procreate, I would say it’s more than paid for itself! As expensive as it seems, it’s been a great value for the money. It’s easy to use and the design is simple. You just have to remember to occasionally plug it in to charge it- the end slides open, revealing a type-C charger port. But the battery life on it lasts a long time. I’ve used it all day before without it dying on me! That reminds me, I should probably go plug it in now…

Great Apple Pencil, easy set up via Bluetooth, and charges extremely fast.
Great value for the money, very easy to use and compatible with most iPads. It charges extremely fast, if you charge it for 10 minutes it’s at 100% even if it was at 10% when you charged it. Very easy to connect to your iPad via Bluetooth, feels good in your hand, and looks like it cost a lot more money than it did.

Works good
Works great, was easy to connect and it’s easy to use. It’s durable. Most of the time I’m using it instead of my fingers. Pairs well with my iPad A16. It’s not heavy, nor is it too light. Sometimes it’s annoying when I’m trying to use the keyboard on my iPad but it doesn’t pull it up since it’s connected to the pencil, but it’s not too big of a deal. I love the appearance, I’ve always been obsessed with this type of stylus, I found it more practical and easier to use than a traditional stylus. (Plus it makes it so much easier to exit out of ads) I won’t comment on the price since I’m sure it’s worth the money, but I’ll let others be the judge of that. For art purposes, I’m not an artist yet, but I’m practicing, and it works for me, I just can’t comment on how it’ll be for an actual artist though, so please do your research on which will be best for you!
