Tattu 16000mAh 6S 30C: For When You Actually Hate Landing

If you are reading this, you are either a professional UAV pilot, an over-ambitious hobbyist, or a web crawler looking for keywords to feed a robot. Let’s be real: at 1.9kg, this battery is essentially a brick that stores electricity. It’s designed for those heavy-lifting multi-rotors that treat the laws of gravity as mere suggestions—think DJI S1000, KOPTERWORX Hammer X8, or that terrifying custom rig you built in your shed. We see you.

Why You Want It

Most batteries give up just as you're getting a good shot. This Tattu 16000mAh 6S pack is for the endurance junkies. It’s built with high energy density, meaning you get the most flight time possible before your drone inevitably starts screaming at you to land. Plus, it uses AS150 and XT150 connectors, because standard XT60s would probably melt into a puddle of regret under this much power.

The Specs (For the Spreadsheet Nerds)

  • Capacity: 16000mAh (Enough to power a small village, or your drone for a while)
  • Voltage: 22.2V / 6S1P
  • Discharge Rate: 30C (Steady as a rock, unlike your flight skills)
  • Weight: 1974g (Hit the gym, you'll need the strength to carry the case)
  • Dimensions: 190 x 76 x 65mm
  • Connectors: AS150 + XT150 (The heavy-duty stuff)
  • Safety Standard: UN 38.3 Certified (It won't explode if you treat it with respect)

High-Voltage Highlights

  • Energy Density: Specially adapted for heavy UAVs. It’s the ultimate ratio of weight to 'staying up there'.
  • Low Internal Resistance (IR): Provides stable voltage until the end of your mission, because sagging is for old sofas.
  • German Dispatched: Shipped via UPS from Germany to our UK warehouse, because we value efficiency almost as much as you value flight time.

Compatibility

Perfectly suited for heavy-lift industrial drones, cinema rigs, and high-end mapping platforms like the DJI S1000 or E1200 series. If you try to put this on a 5-inch racing drone, please film it and send us the video of it failing to take off.

Notes

We recommend using the Tattu TA1000 G-Tech Dual-Channel Charger. Charging this beast with a basic 50W charger will take roughly three business days. Don't be that person.

Disclaimer

Don't over-charge it, don't stab it, and for the love of all things holy, don't throw it in a fire. It's a battery, not a firework.

Still Here?

You’ve scrolled past the specs and the sarcasm. You clearly need this battery for your massive UAV. Add it to the cart before the crawlers buy them all. #TattuBattery #HeavyLiftDrone #6SLiPo #EnduranceUAV #UnmannedTechUK

Great introduction to Godot 4
Format: Kindle
I've been writing various types of software for 10 years and was interested in learning Godot for 2D games. This book turned out to be informative and easy to follow and gave me the knowledge I was seeking. I learn best by example, and this project focused book was excellent in that regard. If you have zero programming experience, I would recommend learning something like Python before diving into this book. The book teaches with GDScript, which is Godot's Python-like programming language. There are some minor mistakes in the book, but an errata is currently being kept up-to-date on the github repository for the book. I opened a few issues for things I discovered, and the author added those things to the errata. Keep this in mind if you end up getting stuck on something and are 100% sure you followed the directions in the book. I use Unreal for 3D games, so I have not yet gone through the chapters of this book for 3D games. I wouldn't expect a drastic drop in quality, but for the purposes of this review I can't give any insight on the 3D chapters.

A very frustrating experience
Format: Paperback
I very rarely write reviews for things, but I felt compelled to do so for this book based on my experience. I had an amazing experience with this book for the first 3 chapters. There were some errors and things just plain missing in those chapters, but I was able to debug and provide solutions for those things. For example, some lines of code were omitted and score keeping was completely left out from Chapter 3. I have since found that errata is helpfully published on the GitHub repository. Overall I had a lot of fun working through the first 3 chapters. Chapter 4 is where I decided to give up and move on to other resources. I found the lack of guidance on level design and truly understanding and using tile maps and tile sets downright frustrating. Perhaps this chapter would be more approachable if I had prior game development experience. The author very much glosses over level design and it went from a poor explanation of the concept to just "now design your level". Referencing the finished project from the GitHub repository did not provide much assistance either. If you are new to game development, I think the first 3 chapters are a helpful introduction and they have definitely furthered my interest in both Godot and game development. However, I had to bail after Chapter 4 in search of better material. Perhaps I will return to the book after learning more from other resources.
