Warm, dramatic, and full of movement, Tropical Sunset is part of the Honeymoon® Series — hellebores known for strong growth, abundant blooms, and richly layered color. These 1-gallon, well-established plants feature 3-inch, single creamy yellow flowers streaked with bold burgundy red veining and picotee edges, creating a sunset-like effect that glows in late winter light.

Blooming in late winter, Tropical Sunset brings weeks of vibrant color just as the garden begins to wake. Hellebores are true harbingers of spring, often blooming for six weeks or more, and are commonly known as Lenten Rose for their traditional flowering during the season of Lent.

This variety is especially well suited for naturalizing in moist, woodland settings, where its extensive root system can slowly spread and establish over time. Like all hellebores, Tropical Sunset is evergreen, deer-resistant, and easy to grow — thriving in part to full shade and returning reliably year after year.
