Beer & Bread is a two-player card game with a multi-use mechanic, featuring alternating rounds that add a unique twist to player interaction, card drafting, and resource management. Set in two villages that once thrived around a monastery, each village has maintained the dual tradition of brewing beer and baking bread. Despite sharing resources, they remain locked in a friendly rivalry to produce the best goods.

Players take on the role of one of these villages, managing a six-year cycle that alternates between fruitful and dry seasons. Throughout this period, you will harvest resources, produce beer and bread, sell them for coins, and upgrade your facilities. However, to win, you must strike the right balance between beer and bread. At the end of the sixth year, you’ll score points based on the lesser of the two categories, with the village that has the higher score emerging victorious.
