Why I Made This Pair
For this pair of 10mm pearl stud earrings, I chose pearls with the same bright, clean luster we use in our Classic Beauty line, but with a softer, slightly flat profile.
These pearls are not perfectly round — as you can see in the close-up photos — so I classify them as 4A rather than 5A. Each one has its own gentle outline instead of a mathematically perfect circle.
From a little distance, though, they look almost the same on the ear as our 10mm Classic Beauty 5A studs. The difference is something you notice more in your hand than on your face: a small curve here, a softer edge there.
Because of that, the price is much softer than a perfectly round 5A pair in the same size. I made this option on purpose — I want more people to be able to own their own 10mm freshwater pearl stud earrings without feeling too much pressure from the word “perfect”.
If you love the look of classic, glowing pearl studs but prefer something a little more relaxed and accessible, this pair was made with you in mind.
