The Gigglepin Top Housing Bearing Kit (G21039) is an upgrade for the standard Warn 8274/8074 top housings and replaces the old Gigglepin Top Housing Bush Kit (G90001).
The main gear in the standard Warn 8274 top housing is supported on its shaft by two needle roller bearings. These bearings have no spacers and can walk up inside the gear which can cause catastrophic damage not only to the main gear, but also the intermediate 7548 gear in the lower housing.
This all-new kit eliminates the chance of this happening, increasing the strength and reliability of your top housing. When fitting this kit it is very important to lubricate the bearings beforehand.
This kit features two needle roller bearings, carbon-infused spacers and a new dowel pin that features an M5 thread. In previous kits it was necessary to add a self-tapping screw to secure this dowel pin, this is now not required as the new, discreet M5 bolt, retains the pin without the need to modify your housing.
What’s in the kit: 2 x Needle Roller Bearings, 2 x Carbon infused Spacers, 1x Dowel Pin, 1 x M5 Cap Head, 1 x M5 Washer, 1 x M10 Washer 1 x M5 Schnorr Washer and Fitting instructions.
