This Handmade, Vintage Wool, Flat-Weave Patchwork Kilim Rug is made from fragments of Vintage Kilims woven in Eastern Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago. We have “reclaimed’ rugs no longer suited for use as floor coverings, “refreshed” by careful hand washing and “repurposed” by skilful cutting of usable sections for “repurposing” by joining, in Patchwork style, to create a larger rug. All of our Patchwork rugs have been professionally tailored and lined with cotton backing. These Patchwork kilim rugs ensure that the skills and artistry of the original weavers live on to grace the homes of today, long after the original weaver created them.
