Combining Acoustic Energy’s refined cabinet engineering with carefully tuned drive units, the AE1002 offers impressive clarity, scale and musicality well beyond its compact dimensions.
Designed for modern hi-fi systems, desktop audio setups and smaller living rooms, the AE1002 uses a 130mm paper cone mid-bass driver paired with a wide-dispersion 25mm soft dome tweeter to produce a balanced, detailed and highly enjoyable presentation. Vocals sound natural and expressive, while bass performance remains controlled and surprisingly weighty for a speaker of this size.
The rigid 15mm HDF cabinet construction helps minimise unwanted resonance and colouration, allowing music to sound clean and focused across a wide range of genres. Acoustic Energy’s rear slot-shaped port design also improves low-frequency performance while making room placement more flexible than many conventional rear-ported speakers.
