Penfolds Bin 51 Eden Valley Riesling 2024 750ml (ABV 12%)The 2024 Riesling is sourced from the Eden Valley region. Matured in stainless steel. Nose Highly perfumed. Varietal markers immediately apparent. Scented bath salts and floral notes of white citrus blossom and jasmine allude to regionality. On further inspection, scents emerge of blackcurrant leaf and finger limes lemon pith. A classic Eden Valley Riesling. Palate Very fresh and flavorful. First impressions are of lemon zest and just squeezed lime

The 2024 Riesling is sourced from the Eden Valley region. Matured in stainless steel.

Nose - Highly perfumed. Varietal markers immediately apparent. Scented bath salts and floral notes of white citrus blossom and jasmine allude to regionality. On further inspection, scents emerge of blackcurrant leaf and finger limes/lemon pith. A classic Eden Valley Riesling.

Palate - Very fresh and flavorful. First impressions are of lemon zest and just squeezed lime juice. The palate has a fleshy, pithy texture with chalky minerality and mouth-watering acidity. At once salivating, inviting, elegant. While this is a lighter-bodied wine, it has plenty of volume and power. A spell in the cellar will invite the emergence of more complex maturation characters.

I waited a month for the price to go down (I'm just a cheapskate) and it did. It went from $45 or so, down to $25 or so. So, unless its life or death, be patient and buy it when the price is right. OVERALL? In general, I was pleased with the product. It wasn't my dream jewelry stand, but it was worth my money and the wait.
