The most beautiful colour of gladiolus I've ever seen! I grew these for the first time the summer of 2023 and now I can't imagine our farm without them.

Details:

Annual if left in the ground in colder zones. You can dig them up after the foliage has died back and save them for next season.

40" tall

Full Sun

Days to maturity: 80-100 days

Corms per package: 10

Planting: Plant 4–6 inches deep and space approximately 6 inches apart. Gladiolus thrive in full sun and produce the strongest stems and best blooms with at least 6 to 8 hours of light, though they will tolerate light partial shade.

Water regularly to keep soil evenly moist, but avoid soggy conditions. Plant in well draining, nutrient rich soil. Amending with compost is recommended, especially in heavy or sandy soils.

Vase life: Changing the water in your vase everyday or every other day will increase vase life. Also recutting the stems every few days and removing the wilted florets. I can typically get 10-12 days if I follow my own rules.

If you live in a colder climate with a shorter growing season like me, I highly recommend pre-sprouting them in a tray with some water on a windowsill or under lights to start the process.

For best results, provide consistent moisture during active growth and consider light support in windy areas to keep tall stems upright.

Corms are packed loose (not in individual bundles) and will be carefully arranged to fit snugly in the box for safe transit.

On farm pick up will be available at check out. There is no set day, just send me an email to arrange a date you'd like to come out.

*Shipping tip: For the most economical shipping option, up to 30 corms fit in our smallest box. Ordering within this range will help keep your shipping costs as low as possible. Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout through Canada Post based on your order size and location.

Shipping will begin mid April once temperatures here in Alberta are a bit more stable for safe transit.

*Due to export restrictions, these cannot be shipped outside of Canada.

Go with tough rubber toys---you'll be ALOT happier!!!
This item isn't worth the thread used to make it. Only took my little puppy approx. 45 min. to gnaw the squeaker out!! The edging "tape" didn't last 1/2 that long. NOT good choice for tough teethers!!! I hand sewed damages---no help. For good toys---go with the KONG-type strength---REALLY TOUGH!!!

Disappointing
Not for aggressive chewers. It looked good but after a couple of hours the binding around the edge started coming undone and my terror twins have destroyed it

Aggressive Chewer Approved!
I’ve tried so many dog toys that claim to be “tough,” and most of them don’t last more than a day in my house… but this one is the real deal.

Favorite toy but my dog chews too aggressively .
I took away 1 star because my dog tore a hole into this toy the 1st day, but even though that happened I am still happy with this toy. It was a great price and my dog LOVES this toy. He throws it all around and shakes it, "Octy" keeps him entertained for a good 45 mins , so I am still happy with the purchase .

Dangerous for dogs!
Not only is this not a tough toy since my puppy tore it apart in less than 2 months, she also swallowed the long red strings and filling. I had to pull it out of her back end. Any dog owner knows this is not safe, especially for my 5-month-old puppy. This is in no way a tough toy, and can be very dangerous for dogs.
