Designed as a disk shelf only, this unit contains no processors or onboard storage and relies on the controller in an attached head unit to manage operations. Supports up to 21 drive bays compatible with HDDs or SSDs depending on configuration. Includes two hot-swappable power supply units within dual PSU slots for redundancy. Rack mounting hardware supports industry-standard racks; cabling interfaces are intended solely for back-end connectivity through supported array controllers.
