From metal to jazz fusion, Kiko Loureiro nails it. His signature DiMarzio Kiko Original pickups (in an HSH configuration) are designed to do it all. The neck and bridge humbuckers have medium output and a balanced sound - similar to the PAF Pro, but with a bit more gain. The single-coil in the middle position is warmer sounding and more higher gain than a typical vintage single-coil, and it balances beautifully with the neck and bridge pickups. Sweet and responsive, this pickup combo is da bomb.

Innovative pickup switching gives you ten different coil combinations

You mix this heady HSH tonefest with a five-way blade, but here's where it gets real interesting: the recessed volume pot is a push-pull affair that gives you access to a staggering range of ten humbucking, single-coil, and coil combos.
