This is the unlikely story of how a shy young man from the sugar plantations of Maui overcame prejudice to integrate two professional sports in two countries. In 1951 the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants chose Yonamine as the first American to play in Japan during the Allied occupation. He entered Japanese baseball when mistrust of Americans was high--and higher still for Japanese Americans whose parents had left the country a generation earlier. Without speaking the language, he helped introduce a hustling style of base running, shaking up the game for both Japanese players and fans. Along the way, Yonamine endured insults, dodged rocks thrown by fans, initiated riots, and was threatened by yakuza (the Japanese mafia). He also won batting titles, was named the 1957 MVP, coached and managed for twenty-five years, and was honored by the emperor of Japan. Overcoming bigotry and hardship on and off the field, Yonamine became a true national hero and a member of Japan's Baseball Hall of Fame. In addition to the foreword by Hawaiian senator Daniel K. Cheaper than having the dealer or oil change store do it. Only takes a minute to replace your existing filter for a lot less than what they want to charge you. High quality too!

Excellent Honda Alternative

I try to get everything and to keep everything as a manufacturer original on a car as possible. I will say that this filter is just as good as the Honda. The installation was very simple, you just need a screw driver to unscrew the 4 screws in the air box and this sits right in. The engine ran better and immediately got so much better MPG. I did not notice the engine struggling for air at all, if anything the car ran better. The fitment was the same size and just as good as the Honda.
P.S Don't be like me. Don't hesitate to buy it. You'll love it. No questions asked!

Perfect it for my 2022 Honda CRV

According to the Honda dealership, my 2022 Honda CR-V needed a replacement air filter. I watched a few YouTube videos to see how difficult the installation would be, and it looked quite simple.
I researched online and found the Ecogard Premium Air Filter on Amazon, which had very good reviews.
As a woman with no mechanical experience, I was surprised to find that it took me less than 10 minutes to install the new filter. It fit perfectly, and I saved money by purchasing it from Amazon and doing the installation myself. The Honda dealer would have charged me over $100 just for the installation.
I highly recommend the Ecogard Premium Air Filter for a 2022 Honda CR-V.
