Fox Racing Race Subframe

The Fox Racing Race Subframe is a low-profile roost deflector built to be worn under your jersey when you want protection without the bulky “over the top” chest protector feel. It gives you solid plastic coverage across the chest and back, while keeping the fit slim so your jersey still lays clean and you stay comfortable when the pace picks up.

This is the kind of piece you throw on for motos, trail rides, or practice days when roost is constant and you want that extra layer between you and flying rocks. It is lightweight, vented, and built to stay out of your way while still doing its job.

If you like the under-jersey look and want something that feels more like race gear than a big armor setup, the Race Subframe hits that sweet spot.

Why We Like It

We like this protector because it feels fast and clean. It is slim, it breathes well, and it protects the areas that get blasted the most without making your gear feel stiff. It also works great for riders who hate the feeling of a bulky chest protector bouncing around or catching on their jersey.

Why It’ll Work for You

If you ride motocross, enduro, or off-road and want roost protection that you can forget about once you are riding, this is a smart choice. The plastic plates help deflect rocks and debris, the vents help keep air moving, and the adjustable waist straps help keep everything positioned correctly so it does not shift around when you are standing, braking, or leaning into corners.

Key Features

  • Low-profile roost deflector designed to be worn under a jersey
  • Plastic chest and back plates for lightweight roost and debris protection
  • Strategically placed vents help improve airflow during riding
  • Adjustable waist straps for a secure, customized fit
  • Slim design that stays comfortable without bulky armor feel
  • Built for motocross, off-road, and trail riding use

not better than manual……!!!!!
Do Not Buy This Product. this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work. worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.

Easy to use! No more hand cranking.
If you like the ease of an electric can opener, but don’t have room to store it or don’t want to drag it out when you need to use it, this is for you. I like a handheld can opener, but would get so frustrated trying to use it and turn the handle. This can opener is amazing and so easy to use. Just attach to can and push a button. It starts turning on its own and when it is done it stops. You lift it up and the lid comes off cleanly. It is rechargeable so need to worry about batteries. It tucks away in a drawer nicely. I bought my mom one too. She has arthritis in her hands so thought this would be perfect for her.

Smooth edges better than twisting
Works a lot better than the crank style and the counter top electric and you can use the lid to reseal the can if you don't use the whole thing.
