Limited edition color vinyl version. Includes 12". Station 17 present their tenth album Blick. From the liner notes by Julian Bätz: "If their preceding album Alles Für Alle (2014) represented the band's first pure pop creation, Blick is a triple backwards somersault in style. This will come as no surprise to anybody who has followed their progress over the past 30 years, crossing musical boundaries as they go. Experimentation is in the DNA of the band founded by musicians with and without disabilities. For the Blick recording sessions, they decided to shake off the dust of the town and the modern world, ensconcing themselves in the Watt'n Sound Studio on the North Sea. Three weeks in the summery seclusion of this coastal idyll enabled the band to cast off the pop restraints of their previous album and enter the realms of free improvisation. No predetermined structures, no preconceived lyrics, the music should exist in the moment, live in the present - not even a basic key was set as a point of reference. Thanks to this creative freedom, Blick developed into a work which, on the one hand, relates to some of the greatest exponents of krautrock like Popol Vuh and, on the other, is a more relaxed, warmer, less vocals-focused cousin of Die Entstehung Der Nacht (2009) by the Goldenen Zitronen. Allusions to the legends of experimental, improvisation-friendly electro-krautrockers are quite reasonable, given the roll call of collaborators featured on this album. Step forward Andreas Dorau, Jean-Hervé Péron and Zappi Diermaier of faUSt, Andreas Spechtl (Ja, Panik), Pyrolator, Grosskopf Kranemann, Datashock, Günter Schickert and none other than Ulrich Schnauss, now a member of German electronic powerhouse Tangerine Dream. Emulating the modus operandi of the aforementioned, Blick documents the immediate, unfiltered and unalloyed interaction between the Station 17 musicians. The spectrum of this 'dialogue' is extended through the musical guests - and captured sonically by Dirk Dresselhaus alias Schneider TM in the engineering room.... Once you have opened yourself up to the positive magic of the nine tracks on Blick, you are sure to discover the honest power lurking in the music of Station 17."

Really enjoy the book and understanding
Format: Paperback
I can't speak for other people and their experience on the book. But installing MySQL wasn't a problem for me following the book instructions and the instructions from the actual Oracle site. Afterwards I relished each of the sessions of segments to learn. Creating tables and then pulling up specifics from that table to access. Or just running the whole table. I took notes for each of the sections as well. I do recommend saving not deleting the tables you do in the sections. So that way one can go back to those table and play around with it. I also recommend tweaking the data to your liking and change it up to be creatively fun. Learning is fun if U can squeeze it in to make it.

Not Good at ALL !!
Format: Paperback
This book on SQL is disappointing! It is awful even at the beginning. First of all, you must install MySQL to practice SQL! The author barely skims over this important step! Without properly installing My SQL, you cannot do the rest of the stuff in this book. I am sorry, I tried and failed in following this book.

A small book but a true gem!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Max Lucado’s “God Will Use This for Good” is an excellent book that I highly recommend. It’s only 47 pages but the words carry a very strong message for those of us who feel helplessness in our lives. I purchased it because it’s a feeling I have. This book has reminded me time & time again, as I remember what I’ve read or I reread it. It’s an easy read. The book begins with a prayer which I included pictures of. There are 4 short chapters that follow, a response page & finally with uplifting scriptures. The focus of the book is on Joseph, the Son of Jacob. His story is told in the Bible. His Father adored him above his Brothers which in turn made his Brothers hate him. They hated him so much they threw him in a pit they were certain he would die in. Mr. Lucado writes this book with the focus on strength Joseph had to endure 20 years in this pit, as written in the Bible. At the age of 37 he became much more than a 17yo boy thrown in a bottomless pit. Why? He believed. This story is reflected onto us who face dark days. Mr. Lucado writes that God will get us THROUGH these times. THROUGH is a common word in many scriptures. It’s further written that “You’ll get through this. It won’t be painless. It won’t be quick. But God will use this mess for good. In the meantime don’t be foolish or naive. But don’t despair either. With God’s help you will get through this.” The big question is asked do you trust God? If you do Mr. Lucado makes it as easy as A-B-C. “Admit your wrongdoing. Believe that Jesus is who he says he is. Commit your life to his cause.” The response page allows you to reflect a prayer & to sign off. It’s a wonderful ending to a book that carries a powerful message. I feel that message is that God will get me THROUGH my difficult times & I truly believe this because I’m a child of Jesus, the Son of God. I have certain pages highlighted which I flip to easily. If I’m in true need I read the entire book. I can’t write enough on how much this has benefited me at the cost of under $5.00. I feel if you can relate to anything I’ve written, you will greatly benefit from this book.
