TransportTags has been honored to offer the very first Blue Angels tag and Fat Albert tag to collectors, and now we are honored to present a second release of the beloved “Fat Albert” tag — crafted from newly acquired additional material of the same U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ legendary Lockheed TC-130G Hercules (BUNO 151891).

Originally assigned to VR-21 Det TACAMO in Barbers Point, Hawaii, this aircraft served a vital role “trash hauling” until the TACAMO II Vans arrived. On January 1, 1966, it transferred to VW-1 in Guam. In 1964, pilot Ron Carlson and his crew made history as the first Navy Hercules to fly around the world, carrying Arctic survival gear for a planned over-the-pole mission that ultimately didn’t proceed due to navigation challenges.

* This second release features the iconic blue and yellow dual-color options that collectors will love. We are also offering a display hangar for both the Fat Albert and Blue Angels Hornet tags, tags must be purchased separately.

Fat Albert proudly served as the Blue Angels’ logistics support aircraft from 1991 to 2002. Crowds were always thrilled by its spectacular Rocket Assisted Takeoff (RATO) demonstrations, and it toured alongside our #1 Hornet during its time with the team (1991–1993). We’re truly excited to have secured this extra material so that we can help further preserve and honor the remarkable legacy of this beloved aircraft.

(Please note that Transport Tags LLC is NOT an authorized or licensed distributor of the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy, or the Lockheed Aircraft Company, and uses their name, markings, etc., for identification purposes ONLY in accordance with the Lanham Act).

Captain loves it
So much easier to throw the ball. Pair with the three set of chuck-it balls. My parents can finally throw it far again

Great for my small dog.
My dog love's playing fetch. Keeps hands from getting dirty. Can bounce ball higher off the ground.

Too small
I was expecting a smaller ball launcher that would still launch regular size tennis balls. Nope

Made for small dog
Do not get this size unless you have a very small dog.

Wrong size
The description said that the chucker was compatible for regular size tennis balls, but it is only for smaller balls. So I never used it, returned to find a larger size.
