Where Have All the Flowers Gone tells the tale of war soldiering and coming home, the story of the Vietnam War as seen by one soldier. Being a soldier in Vietnam left an indelible impression on John Guinane.

A Vietnam Vet, John visited a hospital on June 4, 2012, for a checkup. A male nurse was taking his blood. He was about forty years old, a college graduate who had majored in Journalism. He asked John what he was doing with his life. John told him he was writing a book about Vietnam and had just finished a chapter on the My Lai Massacre. The young man had never heard of the My Lai massacre. This was the only incentive John needed to finish the tale about his life.

Where Have All the Flowers Gone is an unbiased and concise summary of the Vietnam conflict, written in the hopes that a young reader would gain some knowledge and a better understanding of this tragic period in American history.

Why would anybody wish to write about Vietnam? Because as Santayana has warned: Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it. And this nation is great as it cannot afford another Vietnam.

No leaking!
Great for coffee bar. I’ve left coffee in one for two days and the cup did not leak or soften at the base. There is no odor and they don’t stick together when stacked. I am very pleased with these disposable cups.

Quality Product
These paper cups are great for parties. They also are great for taking to the office and putting them in the break room.

GOOD FOR PICNICS AND PARTIES
This bulk package of 8 oz paper cups would be a good choice for parties, picnics, weddings, showers, or any other celebratory event. They are not too thick but they are also not too thin, but I’m not sure how they would hold up with hot liquids for extended periods of time. I would not use these for my coffee. But for regular parties with cold drinks, they would be ok. I do think the pack is over-priced.

Great for 8 oz cups, don't leak
This is a big pack of cups. The cups are sturdy paper, and they don’t crush easily when held in the hand. They don’t seem to be coated with wax, but they still endure quite well. I left a cup sitting out overnight with water in it, and it didn’t soak through or leak. That is just over 6 cents per cup. These are 8 ounce cups, which is a moderate size. If you were throwing a party for adults, they would need to get refills often. These are perfect size for kids. The cups come in 6 plastic sleeves, that are each closed with a twist tie. The plastic they are wrapped in is pretty sturdy, and won’t rip easily, unlike the plastic sleeves that some cups come in. It’s convenient that you can unwrap only what you need at a time. These cups are a reasonable price, currently priced at $19.99, on Amazon, for 300 cups, in July of 2024. That is just over 6 cents per cup. These are a good quality cup for a reasonable price, just keep in mind that the cups are pretty small for adults.

Sturdy & worth it
These plates are super sturdy and reliable! I’ve used them for parties and everyday meals, and they hold up really well—even with heavier or messy food. They don’t get soggy or bend easily, which is a huge plus. Makes cleanup so much easier without worrying about spills. Definitely a go-to for gatherings or busy days!
