Kim Jong Un and the Bomb: Survival and Deterrence in North KoreaIn September 2017, North Korea shocked the world by exploding the most powerful nuclear device tested anywhere in 25 years. In September 2017, North Korea shocked the world by exploding the most powerful nuclear device tested anywhere in 25 years. Months earlier, it had conducted the first test flight of a missile capable of ranging much of the United States. By the end of that year, Kim Jong Un, the reclusive state's ruler, declared that his nuclear deterrent was complete.

Today, North Korea's nuclear weapons stockpile and ballistic missile arsenal continues to grow, presenting one of the most serious challenges to international security to date. Internal regime propaganda has called North Korea's nuclear forces the country's "treasured sword," underscoring the cherished place of these weapons in national strategy. Fiercely committed to self-reliance, Kim remains determined to avoid unilateral disarmament.

Kim Jong Un and the Bomb tells the story of how North Korea-once derided in the 1970s as a "fourth-rate pipsqueak" of a country by President Richard Nixon-came to credibly threaten the American homeland by November 2017. Ankit Panda explores the contours of North Korea's nuclear capabilities, the developmental history of its weapons programs, and the prospects for disarming or constraining Kim's arsenal. With no signs that North Korea's total disarmament is imminent over the next years or even decade, Panda explores the consequences of a nuclear-armed North Korea for the United States, South Korea, and the world.

I like this brush
Style: Medium Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I'd used the thumb brush, the slanted brush and a human soft-bristled toothbrush on my dog over the course of four years. I hate those thumb silicone brushes because my fingers are slim so it slides everywhere. The slanted one is cool. But I got so used to being able to use this collection of human soft-bristled toothbrushes that I'd gotten from the dentist. This one felt weird at first. My dog didn't really understand what I was putting in her mouth and jerked back. We'd gotten a system down for how far back to go so I wasn't knocking her gums and held her jaw out to see her teeth. It's weird not having to do that anymore. I like the brush now. It's a little pricier than other dog toothbrushes. I think if I hadn't used human toothbrushes (and gotten so many compliments from dog vets who didn't know that was what I was using), I would've started off with this one. I'll probably use it again after the three months. Not sure yet.

Low cost buy to put off big costs later
Style: Big Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
These came recommended to us by our veterinary dentist. The bristles are soft and hold up great even with daily use on multiple dogs (they each now have their own toothbrush). It definitely doesn’t beat a yearly cleaning, but it helps prevent oral issues.

The best toothbrush, and I've tried them all!
Style: Small Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have a little 4 year old Maltese and Shih Tzu mix. She has very tiny teeth that are already starting to show signs of dental disease. I know it's important that they get brushed because small breed dogs are more prone to dental and gum problems. But I've tried every little toothbrush out there and it's a battle trying to brush her teeth. And unfortunately she usually wins! This brush is the best. It is soft and round and she completely tolerates it. I put a little doggie toothpaste on it, which she likes the taste of, and I'm finally able to at least move the brush and paste around her gum line. She still fights me a bit, but nothing like she used to. I would highly suggest that you give this toothbrush a try.

Flimsy and snapped easily
Style: Big Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Snapped in literally under a minute of using it. The toothbrush head is so small and the handle is really thin and flimsy even though it’s advertised for large dogs… I’m so disappointed.
