Plastic trim won't soak up water and material like other natural fibers. The sturdiness trim makes this a great brush for scrubbing and cleaning as well. The 5 in. long bristles are attached to a 5-7/8 in. x 3-1/8" laminated wood block. The bristles are tightly pack in 10 x 5 rows for full coverage. The bristles splay out for good coverage when "dashing" on a wall. The bristles are crimped to provide more surface area for material and helps the brush flare out more making flinging material easier. The 8 in. long handle provides and easy grip for flinging plaster and other texture material. Proudly made in the USA.
