This is a true complete kit — not just receivers in a case. Set up the SPS855 base on the included tripod with its Zephyr Geodetic antenna and Multiport adapter, and extend your broadcast range with the included full external radio antenna kit. Send corrections to the R780 rover on its carbon fiber rod, stabilized by the included bipod. Run the workflow through the TSC7 controller. No tripod to buy separately, no rod to source, no external antenna to add as an upsell — this is the complete deployable system. One Rover, Both Radio Bands — Built-In Flexibility
The R780 Model 2 rover in this kit is Trimble's dual-radio configuration — it can operate on both 900 MHz spread spectrum and UHF (410–470 MHz) radio bands, switchable in the field. This means the same rover works with virtually any base station radio configuration: pair it with the included SPS855 base, jump on a different contractor's UHF network, or hop onto a 900 MHz construction site without buying a second rover.
The R780 Model 2 is also fully loaded with most subscription and capability options — giving you access to the receiver's full feature set out of the box.

Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and international orders ship the kit without these three items due to oversize and length-based shipping restrictions. The receivers, antenna, controller, charging kit, external radio antenna kit, and all other components ship worldwide. Tripods, rods, and bipods are widely available locally in most regions.
This complete base & rover kit has been fully tested and verified by our in-house technical team.
