L'idea portante di questa registrazione è quella di proporre un ascolto musicale di brani legati a Roma e al suo carnevale nel tempo. Alcuni di questi brani sono stati composti proprio per il Carnevale; di altri, invece, non conosciamo la destinazione, ma il testo o la musica suggeriscono che possano essere stati eseguiti in tempo di Carnevale. Così, questo insieme è il nostro sogno di un carnevale musicale romano. Sul tema di Bacco abbiamo pensato di inserire anche una canzone di Angelo Branduardi, Il Trionfo di Bacco e Arianna, composta appunto sul testo della Canzone di Bacco di Lorenzo il Magnifico, uno dei primi canti carnascialeschi e senz'altro il più noto. Questa canzone ben rappresenta uno degli aspetti del progetto della collana discografica Futuro Antico: accostare in musica l'antico al nuovo, pensando il risultato come un motivo di interesse nel nostro futuro Infine, tutti i brani di questo carnevale romano in musica, anche quando non precisamente documentati come carnevaleschi, sono stati scelti per la capacità di rappresentare quell'aspetto del carnevale che è scherzo, presa in giro, filastrocca, non però greve, ma leggero e poetico.

You get what you pay for. Won't order again.

Inconsistent width, and soft glue. The veneer is so thin you can see the plywood layers under it in places. The 1/2" width varies from 0.55" to 0.45" and was too narrow to cover the edge of my 0.46" plywood in spots. Even when fully cooled (left some pieces overnight before trimming) the glue is soft and tacky, and loads up on the edge banding trimmer blade.
I was able to cover all my pieces, so I still gave it 3 stars. But I won't order it again. It's not worth the couple of dollars I saved.
I also ordered a roll of 3/4 and threw it away. Same issues, and the color was way too light (looked more like raw maple than birch)

Great for dollhouses

Nice for cable management
Real metal so it is very sturdy and if you tighten your screw it will be very stable too. I out it next to my monitor mount which provide a nice setup for cable management. It fits perfectly to a VESA 100x100 mount. I have a similar setup in my office but under the desk which makes it versatile.
