Bureau B present a reissue of Heldon's second album Allez-Teia, originally released on Disjuncta in 1975. Before making his own music in the early '70s, Richard Pinhas was a King Crimson fan. The British group has buzzed in Pinhas's mind for decades, but their greatest impact came early. When he first saw them play, Pinhas was struck by music played during intermission. "When I saw (King Crimson guitarist) Robert Fripp and Brian Eno perform in Paris later, I realized that the intermission music was their work," Pinhas said. "I didn't know that when I first heard it, but I was very impressed by it. It was the most important influence on Heldon." That influence is clear on Allez- Teia, originally released in 1975 on Pinhas's own Disjuncta label. "In The Wake Of King Fripp" is a soaring mix of string-like electronics and smeared guitar, a reference both to the guitarist and King Crimson's second album In The Wake Of Poseidon (1970). The meditative "Omar Diop Blondin", in which free tones float above a repetitive guitar figure, is dedicated to Fripp and Eno. A strong influence also comes from The Soft Machine's Robert Wyatt, who was slated to record some tracks with Pinhas for Allez-Teia until the expense of his travel from London to Paris proved prohibitive. Yet Allez-Teia - the title a nod to the ancient Greek term for philosophical truth, "aletheia" - is hardly a tribute album. The pieces Pinhas crafts with partner Georges Grunblatt - guitar, Mellotron, ARP synths - are beatific on the surface but infused with undercurrents of tension. Over four decades after he made Allez-Teia, Pinhas's admiration for King Crimson remains profound. He actually met Fripp in 1974, and the two still stay in touch. "We have a great friendship; he has been very helpful," says Pinhas. "Fripp has always been my Hendrix." Some artists might balk at admitting such strong influence over their own work, but for Pinhas it's all about respect. "In the academic world in France, you list your sources," says Pinhas, who received a PhD in philosophy before launching his music career. "So I thought it was good to say, 'Yes, we are influenced by this, and we are proud of it, and people have to know it.' The work of King Crimson at that time was very important. A Must for Nighttime Fetch!!

These are an absolute Must!! We have an ESS who is nearly 2yo and destroys Every toy he has. For some reason, he doesn't try to annihilate these glow balls. If he chomps on them, it's just for a moment while he is bringing it back to you. Has just a little weight to them so it goes far enough when thrown and a nice bounce when we have to play in the house, due to weather. Wish the bright 'glow' held a little longer but stays dim for quite some time and overall, just Awesome! Also purchased the 'chuck it' brand and sent them back because these were so much better. Will be buying more, if ever needed, but haven't had to because they are So Durable.

Awesome quality glow balls

I have bought every glow ball on amazon many times over for my german shepherds. My longest lasting balls have been the chuck-it, they seem to glow longer and not get destroyed but are expensive. These glow balls are our new favorite and not only because of the low price. They hold a good glow longer are heavy duty and fit the chuck-it thrower perfectly. I am stocking up on these. Shipping was also next day so it's 100% buy on these.

Glow in the Dark Balls

These balls are ok, not great. The reason they didn’t receive 5 stars is because they are hard/stiff, harder to throw & heavier than the the “Chuck It” glow in the dark balls. They did not hold up to heavy chewers as well as the aforementioned balls.

Awesome quality balls -- my dog loves them!
Color: F) 3-Pack (2.5" Balls)
Love this 3 ball set and variety and quality. These are the 2.5" size, similar to a tennis ball size give or take. The fun citron yellow one is the thickest + heaviest, very bouncy, and tough. The blue is still tough but not as thick or bouncy, a bit more flexible. And the clearish one is the lightest/flexible and is glow in the dark [although we haven't tried that part yet]. I have a 7month old 40lb girl who is becoming like a power chewer on some things -- but hasn't done that with these. She can play, mouth them, chew them, not even one knick or anything. Yes! The citron and blue one we leave out all the time in her little toy box. They have holes in the middle and have used them to hold thinner bully sticks and other treats. The blue one is fun to put smaller treats inside that she can work out like a puzzle. Obviously they are fun for fetch! We leave the other up and only get out when we can play with her because label said it is not a chew toy so we didn't want to take chances. Overall super fun and cool and good quality, human and dog approved LoL. ***We ordered the 2 set of 4" balls, blue and purple [they are same consistency of the blue ball] and love these too! Very fun and good at using with treats the sticks too, plus these don't get lost under sofas and furniture like the smaller ones, a big plus.
