Born in Portland, Oregon, Kate grew up as a jazz prodigy, but she grew into something significantly more dynamic. At age 5, Kate Davis picked up a violin, a bass at age thirteen. She entered the Portland Youth Philharmonic before puberty, the Grammy Jazz Ensemble before adolescence. By the time she graduated high school, Kate won the Presidential Scholar in the Arts Award and a full ride to the Manhattan School of Music. By the time she graduated college, ASCAP's Robert Allen Award and slots at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. As a young adult, the virtuoso claimed enthusiastic endorsements from NPR, MTV, PBS and BBC as well as coveted invitations to the stage from Herbie Hancock, Ben Folds, Alison Krauss, Jeff Goldblum and the like. Days spent practicing and performing became nights spent writing cathartic indie rock music simultaneously informed by and rebutting of her training. Time intended for technique slipped into secret listening sessions of Beach House, Elliot Smith and TV on the Radio. In the same bright, arresting croon that ignited her youthful stardom, Davis created confessionals. Now 28 and audibly matured, Kate is prepared to properly share the artifacts from her late night craft, a full length reaction to ritual required of perfection, an outburst from the pedestal. Throughout twelve tumultuous tracks, she poetically reflects upon the intricacies of what it is to live, ruminating on topics too close to her heart - identity, self-worth, loss. Great shoes

This shoe is incredibly comfortable and durable.
I work in custodial work as management. However, sometimes I have to help my team when we are low manned. Just recently I had to help my team auto scrub a restroom. My shoes felt lightweight and were completely easy to clean. I was worried I would be slipping on sudsy water. To my surprise, these shoes gripped on to the floor nicely.
I love the versatility of having a working shoe with the great style Bruno Marc provides. The shoe is breathable and true to size. I ordered the black pair as well and have had them for about 3 months. Highly recommend these amazing shoes.

Great quality.

Bought these shoes at the last minute for my husband to wear to an event. They arrived overnight and did not disappoint. They are true to size, high quality, lightweight, and they look great on. Can be worn with jeans to a casual event or with slacks to a more formal event . He loves them and said they are extremely comfortable.

Perfect Shoes Work & Happy Hour!

Working downtown again and occasionally someone will invite me out for Happy Hour after work. So I needed nice shoes for Summer that could take me from my law office to the speakeasy. These are comfy. The little air holes are great for letting out the heat of everyday walking to and from work without being noticeable. My feet can breathe! I'm a size 13 wide and they feel nice, light, with room to spare if I wanted to wear little thicker dress socks or some crew type socks w them. They tie up easy, wipe off fine if I get them a bit muddy in the backyard before work taking out the garbage and they look darn good w out breaking the bank!

9-5 go to Shoe
Size: 9, Color: Black
Shoes arrived today. My knocks on them are the laces and the warmth (my feet soaked only after 4 hours of wear.) but for the price and discount that's currently being offered, no one can beat it. I was in desperate need of new shoes for my office job because my current ones were torn and color faded due to wear and tear, the two pairs that I bought are very stylish, comfortable, and the bottoms are durable and slip resistant. I was also surprised that they're true to size. I wear sneakers and these in size nine.
