Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (25%) Cab Franc (10%), and Malbec (5%) this claret throws intense Medoc-like aromas of cassis, tobacco, and herbs but has a unique mineral signature from the iron rich clay soils. The 2019 is rich and sumptuous but perfectly balanced with black cherry, plum, black current with a nice pipe tobacco note. Easily one of my favorites reds of 2024 and I'm excited to see how my bottles age over the next 5 years.
