Lichen Gumbo is a lo-fi underground rock band from Finland. Boilin' was recorded during a week of seclusion in a small cabin deep in the woods with no running water and at home during an exceptional heat wave hitting Finland in 2014, hence the Boilin' title for this album of hazy tunes. The selected songs range from Throbbing Gristle hits to a more noisy garage style. Mixing heavily distorted drums and guitars, vocals varying in style going from garage, no wave to totally deranged, and synth bubbles which sound like they're recorded straight from the water surface of hot springs (or perhaps they just borrowed a Moog from Acid Mothers Temple). Lichen Gumbo are Olli Aarni and Ville Oinonen. Olli has been recording under his own name since 2011 and mostly works with electronic sounds. He has released music as Ous Mal and Nuojuva. Slimy! Taste okay, but strange texture

I really wanted to like these but they're really slimy! I've had Jack Links before but these are even more slimy. I normally get chomps or archer beef sticks. I would say these have the texture of the archer beef stick just a bit more slimy. Not my favorite.

Gross Texture - Weirdly Soft

These are literally the nastiest possible version of a meat stick I've ever had.
Bought them for the price and for lunches to take to work. As it would turn out, I couldn't give them away to family. Everyone who bravely tried it were met with the same gross, weirdly soft, texture. No matter if it was refrigerated or room temp - it was eerily soft I felt like I was eating baby food. The flavor was... Fine? I guess. It didn't wow me either way, just kinda existed. They are also pretty small, I expected more than 4in per item for the price. I thought the price was good when I thought they were bigger, but when I discovered they were smaller, the price became less worth it.
Overall, I'm not sure who the target audience for these it because adults and kids alike did not like them or their weird texture.

I’d rather reviews on these before purchasing them and I didn’t think I was gonna like it. I seen a lot of bad reviews lotta negativity, but I was impressed. They’re actually good a little greasy not too much. They were not mushy at all. Remind me of a slim gym, but not that greasy. I normally eat a different brand, but I really like this and I will buy it again. I recommend it. I wasn’t going to try it because a lot of the reviews weren’t too good that I was reading but they’re good. I like them, but I’m glad I tried it and they are zero sugar.
