Widely acclaimed as one of the finest recordings of Claire Martin's career, Too Much in Love to Care (Claire Martin sings with Kenny Barron) was named 'Best New Album' at the 2013 British Jazz Awards and 'One of the Best Albums of 2012' by Jazz History Online. Upon it's release, Too Much in Love to Care received several five star reviews with Jazz Times describing her vocal talent equal to that of Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Horn, two of Claire's idols. Too Much in Love to Care is a collection of classic romantic songs and beautiful ballads from The Great American Songbook including Gershwin's Embraceable You and How Long Has This Been Going On? and the title track from Sunset Boulevard. Too Much in Love to Care was recorded in New York and guest stars Kenny Barron, 'one of the top jazz pianists in the world' (LA Times) alongside bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington. Solid bamboo board set for the price

This bamboo cutting board set has been a nice addition to my kitchen. I like having different sizes available, and I especially appreciate being able to reduce how often I use plastic cutting boards. Mine did have a strong odor at first, but after washing them and letting them air out, that went away. They also seem good for the price

Awesome Boards….BUT the Smell!!!!

I’d love to give these 5 stars, they are heavy, well made, smooth, deep juice grooves, just nice….but the smell! I washed them, then used vinegar on them, set them outside over night, washed them again….its better but still present. I’d love some guidance on this. I’m hoping it goes away in a few days. It’s like a very strong woodsy smell that actually made my whole kitchen smell like these boards!
Edit: Ok, here's what I did. Washed, let dry, coated and scrubbed with apple cider vinegar, set them in a high air flow area for 24 hours (I put mine outside on the patio over night), washed and scrubbed again, let dry, scrubbed with lemons and salt, let dry, washed again. Finally, there is still a slight smell if you push them against your nose but that seems to be fading as well. So, great boards if you want to go stubbornly go through the smell removal process. I don't think it's a chemical smell, I think it's processed bamboo that is shrink wrapped in air tight packaging too soon after manufacturing. Anyway, I'll move this to 4 stars....but lots of work involved here!

Obsessed with these boards!!
