Sadly both James Macauley and Robert died in the 1970's. James Jnr built up the already established company in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, to where it is today - one of the most experienced companies in the transportation of heavy loads, which now extends into the mining and quarrying industry, as well as engineering sectors. Cadzow was voted Scotland's most innovative haulier in 2004. Some of their vast loads include the transport of transformers, overhead crane bearns, pipe gantries and excavators.
