Measured alongside his triumphs at Monterey Pop and Woodstock, Hendrix's legendary Fillmore East concerts illustrated a critical turning point in a radiant career filled with indefinite possibilities. Songs For Groovy Children assembles all four historic debut concerts by Jimi Hendrix's newly assembled Band of Gypsys at New York's Fillmore East on New Years Eve 1969 and New Years Day 1970. Presented in their original performance sequence and encompassing 43 tracks across 8 LPs, the set boasts over two dozen tracks that have either never before been released commercially. Newly mixed and restored in sequence without edits, fans can finally hear Hendrix, Cox and Miles blast through their genre-defying sets that included freshly written songs. The lavish package is filled with unseen photos and remembrances from bassist Billy Cox and liner notes by author/journalist/filmmaker Nelson George. Songs For Groovy Children was produced by Janie Hendrix, Eddie Kramer and John McDermott - the trio that has overseen every project for Experience Hendrix since 1995. The box set was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Bernie Grundman.

Good quality athletic shorts
First note, these are unlined shorts since the description is not clear about it one way or the other. The material is light weight and has a decent amount of stretch in all directions. They came vacuum sealed and double bagged. The waist band is wide and comfortable, and the inseam is right at 5". The drawstring has large plastic aglets. The two front pockets are deep enough to secure an oversized phone or your keys. I'm typically between a 32" and 34" waist, and the mediums are a little on the snug side but not too tight. If you are between sizes, I would recommend to size up. Overall, the quality is nice and there were no loose threads or stitching. With the light weight fabric you barely know they are there and are a comfortable as whatever you wear underneath.

Love these for casual wear
I bought these as running shorts but I've reserved them for casual wear. They are a flattering color that goes well with the current prevailing style, and they are trim and straight and look well made rather than athletic. Would they work as athletic shorts? Yep for sure, but it'd be a waste to keep these only for the gym.

Good shorts
Lightweight shorts, good fit/cut. The fabric is thin and seems like it is one layer. Not the greatest quality but good for the price. Material breathes well and is great for workouts. I do question durability but after a couple of washes, they’re still going strong.
