SHAKER ウッドバックベンチ18世紀後半から20世紀初頭のアメリカで生まれたシェーカーデザインは、機能性を追求した実用的なものでありながら、装飾を削ぎ落した中から生まれた機能美が洗練されたフォルムを描き出しています。不必要なものを削ぎ落すためには、その構造を支えるための細部の仕事こそが重要になります。簡素でありながら丁寧な仕事によってつくり出されるシェーカー家具は、家具として究極のデザインの一つであるといえます。
シンプルでナチュラル、そして機能的であること。時代を超えるデザインであり、長くつくり続けたい、そして使い続けたいと思える家具であること。シェーカー家具が持つ基本思想は、広松木工のものづくりの原点となっています。
広松木工のシェーカーシリーズは、当時のデザインを可能な限り再現し、美しさを追求してつくられています。ヨーロッパ家具の装飾を削ぎ落とすことで生まれたとされているその造形は、研ぎ澄まされてシンプルでありながら、装飾性を失ってはいません。
シンプルな構造のベンチであっても、直線的な中にあしらわれている曲線は装飾としての要素だけでなく、耐久性を高めるための選ばれた形でもあります。背も座もクッション性のない無垢材ですが、適切に設定された角度により、快適な座り心地を実現しています。

Well that didn't last long

Worked great at first, but only got it last November and it doesn't work now in April. I've cleaned it out totally and it still sounds awful. I don't know what's wrong. I mostly use this on my face every morning. It should have lasted longer.

Smooth, precise, and no leftover hair exactly what I needed
