In a brilliant collaboration between writer and subject, Witold Rybczynski, the bestselling author of Now I Sit Me Down, illuminates Frederick Law Olmsted's role as a major cultural figure at the epicenter of nineteenth-century American history. We know Olmsted through the physical legacy of his stunning landscapes--among them, New York's Central Park, California's Stanford University campus, and Boston's Back Bay Fens. But Olmsted's contemporaries knew a man of even more extraordinarily diverse talents. Born in 1822, he traveled to China on a merchant ship at the age of twenty-one. He cofounded The Nation magazine and was an early voice against slavery. He managed California's largest gold mine and, during the Civil War, served as the executive secretary to the United States Sanitary Commission, the precursor of the Red Cross. Rybczynski's passion for his subject and his understanding of Olmsted's immense complexity and accomplishments make his book a triumphant work. In A Clearing in the Distance, the story of a great nineteenth-century American becomes an intellectual adventure.Binding Type: Paperback

Love it.
Style: Ink
I love my epson workforce printer. I used to be a Canon person but once I got this printer. It changed my mind. So the ink is worth it. Especially in the bundle package. It may be a bit on the pricey side but it last me awhile. At least, in my opinion, it’s less expensive than buying them separately. Epson makes great stuff and glad I chose to stick with them. The ink is very good and looks great after it prints. Thanks to Epson for functionality, cost and efficiency when it comes you your products.

Epson Ink for the win
Style: Ink
Love my epson printer and that I can order the ink just about anywhere. Ink is of good quality and depending on the amount you print, it seems to last a decent amount of time.

It's ink and it works.
Style: Ink
It's ink and it works. My Epson printer is VERY finicky and only wants name-brand ink. This is it. A little pricey but they all are.

Well performing ink for my particular printer
Style: Ink
These inks work well, and are easy to install. They do not last long. They follow the current apparent marketing scheme of offering a a very good printer at a very favorable price, but charging relatively high prices for the ink. I understand that people need to make a profit somewhere.
