180-gram LP version in gatefold sleeve. One of music's most elusive and enigmatic acts lifts the veil (a fraction) to present Beauty Will Save the World. Since forming in the mid-1980s, the reclusive Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus have confounded musical classification and studiously declined every invitation to explain their unique form of musical and artistic experimentation. Initially, the Liverpool outfit built their reputation on their extraordinary immersive multimedia performances, which combined multiple layers of visual imagery with elements of ritual, enigmatic samples, field recordings, and mesmeric live music. Their cult status was further reinforced with the release of the now-much-sought-after two studio albums The Gift of Tears (1987) and Mirror (1990) and two EP collections, Liturgie pour la Fin du Temps (1992) and Paradis (1995). Now, in 2015, the appearance of a new RAIJ album and the apparent relaxation of their strict vow of silence are generating predictable excitement and expectancy. Beauty Will Save the World does not disappoint. RAIJ's intoxicating mix of ethereal beauty, dazzling soundscapes, and oblique mystery reach new levels of intensity and subtlety. The album title - a quotation from Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky - is one of the many literary, cinematic, and spiritual references underpinning RAIJ's unexpected comeback. Founding members Paul Boyce, Jon Egan, and Leslie Hampson, joined by a fresh wave of collaborators, have crafted an album of unique beauty and originality. Prolonged silence seems to have deepened rather than dimmed their creative impulse. As ever, it is the breadth of musical genres, cultural references, borrowings, and retrieved sounds that defines the RAIJ aesthetic, but there is also a more consistently meditative and melodic strain that underpins the album's integrity and purpose. In a rare insight into the RAIJ's creative method, Jon Egan explains, Although our work takes elements and inspiration from many disparate sources we have never viewed it as deconstruction. We are looking for the thread that connects every manifestation of beauty, however fragile, transitory and seemingly accidental. There is renewed interest and appreciation of our music and that's great, says Leslie Hampson. We have never tried to cultivate obscurity or anonymity, we simply wanted to avoid having to explain and justify a creative process that isn't necessarily premeditated. Isn't it enough to listen to and experience it?

MUST READ BOOK!!
Format: Kindle
I was in a huge reading slump, when one of my favorite authors recommended this book in her readers group (The amazing Marie Mistry 🫶) and I absolutely DEVOURED this book. Now I’m in the club crying about having to wait until December for Term 2!
This book is about a girl named Pandora who has suffered a life that nobody would ever wish to have. This book is about Pandora learning how to live, learning about herself and what she really wants. She has a long journey to find out all of these things, but she took the first steps in this book and it was beautiful to read. Some of the men in this book are our dream men, Hunter and Reed 😍 and then we have the men who need some work and who we all really just want to beat up until they admit what they really feel, Skel, Bram and Dexter. But that cliffy was a killer and I absolutely cannot wait until the next book!!
You have written an absolute dream of a book Lyra and I eagerly await the next installment in this series!!!

Loved it!
Format: Kindle
Who doesn’t love morally grey men obsessed with their omega who isn’t afraid to call them out on their unacceptable behavior and make them grovel?
Tatum really is a survivor through and through. She is willing to do anything to get her mother the help she needs, even deal with the man her broke her heart.
If you love brothers playing jokes, crazy stabby omegas and rich men being told no, you will enjoy this book. Great spice and great ending.

Omega survival mode
Format: Kindle
Tatum is an Omega who has been suppressing herself since she had a heartbreaking fallout after her first heat. The boy she loved ghosted her after it was over.
Tatum lost her father when she was just 8 and her mother struggled to survive until Tatum got to be an adult and was unable to keep pushing. So now Tatum is being the parent and she needs a better paying job so she can afford to put her mother in a care facility until she is better.
When she finds a job posting for Haze Instincts she knows they take care of their Omega staff and if she is a dancer or maybe something more she will be able to catch up on bills and get her mom taken care of.
As she is exposed to a few different irresistible Alphas she is forced to remember who she is and face everything she has been running from. Will she be able to accept all of her Omega nature, get her mother the care she needs, form a pack and let go of the past?
This book was sad and sweet too. Tatum has been through so much and she doesn't know how everything fits together. As the pieces fit into the puzzle she has to choose a future even if it is scary.
I love the ladies she works with at the club. Their personalities are so fun. Also, I love a groveling Alpha. Though Mr. Brownies was a fun twist. I love that the story was comprehensive and filled in all of the missing pieces in a way that was engaging and made sense.
That epilogue was so freaking sweet and an absolutely perfect ending.

Exceptional
Format: Kindle
I was thoroughly intrigued with this book. It took me a couple of days to finish it, but I was running home from work to get back into the Haze pack. I loved this book and I can't wait for the next book from this author.

ending was very rushed
Format: Kindle
Fun premise and start but the initial story buildup took 90% of book so the characters coming together and overcoming villain of story was literally less than 25 pages. Ending felt rushed and way less thought out than the premise. The whole mom part of the story was unnecessary and hard to follow.
