Inspired by the end of her marriage and the roller coaster of emotions she experienced during the time, Stefani returned to feeling inspired and started writing new and meaningful songs. With the help of producers J.R. Rotem, Mattman & Robin and Greg Kurstin, as well as songwriters Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, Stefani wrote the whole album in a few months and described it as a "breakup record", with the songs having a "sarcastic" and dark-humor vibe, as well as having realness and a few being joyful and happy as well. Fun ball for my big Golden Retriever!'

It's big and has some weight to it in comparison with ither balls that hardly weigh anything. My 4 year old Golden Retriever can get his jaws around it only just! The squeaky is tough to get squeaking especially if you have a smaller dog. My dog is about 100 lbs and can just barely bite it hard enough to make it squeak. Very cute toy and I pretty sure this is going to last him a long time because it really seems very durable! He loves it!
