Thanks For All The Fish is the eighth solo album from Sparks, Jet, Radio Stars and Rickenbacker bass maestro Martin Gordon. The album pays homage to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, while taking aim at a broad selection of idiotic behaviour across the globe (and those who carry it out). Featuring guests from the Tiger Lillies along with Berlin's finest Ost-polka band the Polkaholix and members of Daniel Barenboim's Berliner Staatskapelle orchestra, the album was mastered by veteran Sparks' engineer Richard Digby Smith.

Entertaining, informative, without being overwhelming.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".

For the history buff or student - this is worth the purchase
Format: Hardcover
Detailed, individual maps and history on the battles of World War II. It isn’t too overwhelming for the student and is an enjoyable read for the history buff. Hardback so it will ensure lots of reading and reviews, durable pages too (not those thin, flimsy, easily tearable pages!) - this book will likely stand the test of our schooling years and beyond.
