The AEM 22-401R Performance Short Ram Air Intake System has been engineered to be an affordable and easy way to boost the horsepower and torque of your engine. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced with this AEM air intake system. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The sound your engine makes when accelerating is also modified to a fuller, more aggressive resonance allowing you to hear and feel the horsepower upgrade. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable red powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the engine breather hose, vacuum lines and inlet air temperature sensor (where equipped). The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Does not hold a seal very long
Looks good. Quality materials and construction. Vacuum seal doesn’t seem to last very long. After a day the lid can be easily opened, regardless of how many times you pump it beforehand. More aesthetic than functional.

Functional, glass canister.
I like the design, I really like the fact that it’s glass, not plastic. Easy to extract the air out, I don’t have to do an extended work out to pump the valve, easy release. The only thing is the part when I need to open the unit to get my coffee beans out. All you need to do is just twist the lid, the glass container makes me a little nervous, but just grab from the bottom part to open it and it’s fine!
I’m happy with it, I might buy again to store more coffee!! Great product though!!
