Our Race Through America Virtual Race Series continues! Each month we will race through a different state, until we've race through all of the states in America! For this race we will be racing through the great state of Idaho! 

We will be donating 15% of each registration in our Race Through America series to Feeding America, who is the leading domestic hunger relief organization with a nationwide network of 200 food banks. We hope to help feed thousands with our Race Through America Series!

What:  This is a virtual race. You choose to complete 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 or 50 Miles. You complete your race on your own and submit your time to us.  Then we ship your medal directly to you.

When: Complete your race anytime! *Medals and bibs will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up. 

Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why:  To celebrate the beautiful state of Idaho!

COST:  $24, which includes your medal, bib and at least 15% of every entry will be donated to Feeding America.   *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.

 What is a Virtual Race?                             

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more! 

Each race benefits a difference charity

For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events!  Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.

You know a blanket’s soft when my dog immediately tries to appropriate it. This is incredibly soft, and actually pretty light; it makes for a good spring or summer blanket, or a throw in addition to something else in colder weather. (The twin is big enough that you can double it up over yourself to make it thicker in colder months.) I’m not sure while it’s called a “bubble” blanket - there is a very gentle egg crate shape to it, but it’s not rigid at all, and not dual-layer or filled with air or anything. It’s a very comfy throw (my dog can also attest to that) and for ~$20 (at the time of this review), it’s a great deal. I haven’t noticed any shedding, either, but I’m going to wash it on as gentle a cycle I can, to be safe.

It is worth noting that depending on how the blanket lays, you can see the fabric underneath as the fibers part. (See photo.) It laundered well in the washing machine. There was no color bleeding or shedding. I dried it in the dryer on extra low. The fibers didn't pill or knot like fleece does. (All of the photos were taken after laundering.)
