What are Allevia 120mg Tablets?
 

Allevia is an antihistamine that can help to relieve your hay fever symptoms. These symptoms range from sneezing, itchy, runny, or blocked nose, and red, watery eyes.

Hay fever is when you have an allergy to pollen, and there are many different types, like a tree, grass, and plantain pollen. Pollen particles are in the air all year round, but they are usually worse when it’s warm, humid, and windy between the spring and summer months.

What is the Active Ingredient in Allevia 120mg Tablets and how does it work?
 
Allevia contains the active ingredient Fexofenadine. Fexofenadine is a non-drowsy medicine known as an antihistamine.

Your body produces histamine after you come into contact with something you are allergic to (e.g Pollen). The histamine is what causes the symptoms.

Fexofenadine works by blocking the effects of histamine and this then reduces any unpleasant symptoms.

Warnings and Precautions
 

Not suitable for anyone under the age of 12 years.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Store in a cool, dry place that is below 25 degrees C.

Do not use it if the expiration date printed on the carton has passed.
