The Nazis came first, conquering Poland demanding allegiances which set neighbor against neighbor and tore many families apart.ÊThen, as the Russians pushed the defeated Germans out of Poland, they plundered our country, destroyed homes and took all remaining men who were not drafted into the army to concentration camps in Siberia. But, my story doesnÕt end with defeat, itÕs a journey of healing as God directed my life from one river across the seas to the Pacific Ocean, and finally to Winnegance Bay in Maine. This is a story of hope for any one who has ever walked through dry riverbeds in search of streams of living water. Do not give up, there is always redemption in suffering.
