The revised and updated edition of Lt. Col. Dave Grossman's modern classic, hailed by the Washington Post as "an illuminating account of how soldiers learn to kill and how they live with the experiences of having killed."
The good news is that most soldiers are loath to kill. But armies have developed sophisticated ways of overcoming this instinctive aversion. And contemporary civilian society, particularly the media, replicates the army's conditioning techniques, and, according to Lt. Col. Dave Grossman's thesis, is responsible for our rising rate of murder among the young.

Upon its initial publication, On Killing was hailed as a landmark study of the techniques the military uses to overcome the powerful reluctance to kill, of how killing affects soldiers, and of the societal implications of escalating violence. Now, Grossman has updated this classic work to include information on 21st-century military conflicts, recent trends in crime, suicide bombings, school shootings, and more. The result is a work certain to be relevant and important for decades to come.
"Powerfully argued...Full of arresting observations and insights." --New York Times

Cute and comfortable
Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: Medium
Comfortable and cute. A little long but still wear them with no issues. The material is light but synthetic so not really breathable. I foresee wearing them often.

Love these shirts
Size: Small, Color: Watermelon, Number of Items: 1
Love the fabric. They feel so much better than some of the other shirts I have. They’re thicker and just feel nicer. Love this color too. Got a small and also have another color in medium. Both fit, just depends on how casual I want to look. I’ll be getting more!

Nice Quality for the Price
Size: Large, Color: White, Number of Items: 1
I ordered a large and it was a little too big. I washed and dried it and it didn't shrink too much. It's very soft and feels nice. For the price it's better quality than expected. I am planning to order a medium which should be the right size. The large fits my husband perfectly. F/5'11"/165lbs M/6'/170

Soft, Relaxed Fit Tee That Gets Better with Every Wash
Size: Medium, Color: Black, Number of Items: 1
I ordered the Comfort Colors Adult Heavyweight Short Sleeve tee and it honestly lives up to the name. The fabric has that thicker, broken-in feel right out of the package. It is soft without feeling thin or flimsy, and it has that slightly faded, lived-in look that Comfort Colors is known for. The fit is relaxed but not sloppy. It hangs nicely without clinging, and the heavyweight cotton gives it structure. It feels durable and well made, especially around the collar and seams. After washing, it softened even more but didn’t shrink much or lose its shape. What I like most is how versatile it is. It works for casual days, layering, or even as a simple everyday staple. The colors also tend to have that washed, vintage vibe rather than looking overly bright or synthetic. Overall, this is a dependable, comfortable T-shirt that feels like it will last. If you like a slightly heavier cotton with a relaxed fit, this one is a solid choice.

Good basic t-shirt with one caveat
Size: XX-Large, Color: Crunchberry, Number of Items: 1
This shirt has a good weight to it and feels well made. I bought three of them after reading a review at the New York Times. It is a really good t-shirt for a great price. The only caveat is the sizing. For a unisex shirt the shoulder width is a bit too broad for a woman. The shoulder seam is a good two inches below my shoulder. That's probably to be expected, but if you are a woman and that would bother you I would look for another shirt with women's sizing. Also, the neck is weirdly high and I keep pulling it away a bit. Not deal breakers for me but did cause me to knock off a star. If I could I'd give it four and a half stars.
