Fair Game: How a Top Spy Was Betrayed by Her Own GovernmentOn July 6, 2003, four months after the United States invaded Iraq, former ambassador Joseph Wilson's now historic op ed, What I Didn't Find in Africa, appeared in The New York Times. On July 6, 2003, four months after the United States invaded Iraq, former ambassador Joseph Wilson's now historic op-ed, What I Didn't Find in Africa, appeared in The New York Times. A week later, conservative pundit Robert Novak revealed in his newspaper column that Ambassador Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame Wilson, was a CIA operative. The public disclosure of that secret information spurred a federal investigation and led to the trial and conviction of Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Scooter Libby, and the Wilsons' civil suit against top officials of the Bush administration. Much has been written about the Valerie Plame story, but Valerie herself has been silent, until now. Some of what has been reported about her has been frighteningly accurate, serving as a pungent reminder to the Wilsons that their lives are no longer private. And some has been completely false -- distorted characterizations of Valerie and her husband and their shared integrity.

Valerie Wilson retired from the CIA in January 2006, and now, not only as a citizen but as a wife and mother, the daughter of an Air Force colonel, and the sister of a U.S. marine, she sets the record straight, providing an extraordinary account of her training and experiences, and answers many questions that have been asked about her covert status, her responsibilities, and her life. As readers will see, the CIA still deems much of the detail of Valerie's story to be classified. As a service to readers, an afterword by national security reporter Laura Rozen provides a context for Valerie's own story.

Fair Game is the historic and unvarnished account of the personal and international consequences of speaking truth to power.

Finally, a Loofah That Isn't Skimpy
I’ve gone through my fair share of bath puffs, and usually, they’re pretty disappointing—either they’re super thin or they fall apart before you even get a good lather going. These Amazon Basics ones are a total breath of fresh air because they’re actually nice and full. They have that dense, fluffy mesh that makes even a tiny drop of body wash turn into a ton of bubbles, which is exactly what you want. The size is perfect, and unlike those cheap, flimsy ones, these actually have enough texture to exfoliate your skin and get it feeling smooth without being too scratchy. They also have a sturdy little rope so you can hang them up to dry easily. I honestly liked these so much that I’ve already bought them a second time. If you’re looking for a simple shower upgrade that actually does its job, you really can’t go wrong with these.

A Spa Experience at Home
I absolutely love this bath loofah—it’s one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference in my routine. The texture is just right: firm enough to exfoliate and leave my skin feeling super smooth, but still gentle so it’s not irritating. It lathers up beautifully with just a little bit of body wash, making every shower feel like a mini spa session. The quality is great—no unraveling or falling apart after multiple uses, and the loop makes it easy to hang and dry quickly. I’ve noticed my skin feels noticeably cleaner and softer since I started using it regularly. If you’re looking to elevate your shower experience, this loofah is a must-have. Affordable, durable, and refreshing—I’m definitely buying more for backups and gifts!

Good Quality!
Much larger than I expected. Good quality. I have been using for a month now and it is holding up very well. Great value too. So much better than cheap dollar store versions I have bought in the past.
