After purchasing the Red Sox for $1.2 million in 1932, Yawkey poured millions into building a better team and making the franchise relevant again. Although the Red Sox never won a World Series under Yawkey's ownership, there were still many highlights. Lefty Grove won his three hundredth game; Jimmie Foxx hit fifty home runs; Ted Williams batted .406 in 1941, and both Williams and Carl Yastrzemski won Triple Crowns. Yawkey was viewed by fans as a genial autocrat who ran his ball club like a hobby more than a business and who spoiled his players. He was perhaps too trusting, relying on flawed cronies rather than the most competent executives to run his ballclub. One of his more unfortunate legacies was the accusation that he was a racist, since the Red Sox were the last Major League team to integrate, and his inaction in this regard haunted both him and the team for decades. As one of the last great patriarchal owners in baseball, he was the first person elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame who hadn't been a player, manager, or general manager. Bill Nowlin takes a close look at Yawkey's life as a sportsman and as one of the leading philanthropists in New England and South Carolina. Buy it you won’t regret it
This is the best toy ever! My Rottie loves it and can entertain herself for quite a while. The unpredictability of its bounce when tossed keeps her guessing and moving getting lots of energy out. Great for tug as well, or roll it on flat surfaces, it’ll go forever! She love the squeaky too

Best dog toy ever!
We saw someone with one of these at the dog park and thought that it would be perfect for our male Boxer, Buster. He has torn up just about every toy we’ve gotten him and this thing seemed really durable and really fun. Buster absolutely loves this toy! It is definitely the most expensive dog toy I’ve ever bought, but we’ve had it for months, he plays hard with it every day, and it is perfectly intact still! I wish I had known about it sooner so I wouldn’t have wasted money on Toys that he destroyed quickly. If you don’t like squeaky toys this may not be for you because once they figure out how to get it to squeak, you’ll be hearing it often. The nice thing is it doesn’t squeak without a lot of effort and it takes a strong dog to get it going. It doesn’t squeak when it’s just rolling around so that’s a plus. It is big and heavy though so be careful not to trip over it! Fortunately, it’s easy to spot with the bright color on one side. Highly recommended!

Durable, Fun, Best Toy Ever for My Spoiled Rotten Rottweiler
This is one of the best toys EVER for our 107 lb male Rottweiler. We have had the Med/Large size for over a year and it has remained Sam’s favorite toy and proven extremely durable. We play fetch and toss/catch with it in the yard and he throws it in the air, pounces on it and makes it squeak like prey. BTW some reviews say their toys don’t squeak; I am guessing those people have the wrong kind of dog for this toy. I can’t make it squeak with my hands, but my Rottie’s powerful jaws have no problem. It’s ideal as a toy for a big, powerful dog when all other toys have fallen apart. I just got Sam the Large/XL size and he was absolutely delighted with it!

Not Boerboel proof
I have a terrible time finding toys for my 10 month old Boerboel. Either she ignores it or tears it up immediately.
She likes this toy (jumbo size) and actually chewed on it for 20 min. Bad side is she chewed a hole.
It lasted longer than any of the other fairly chewy toys I've tried. She doesn't like the hard chews.
