Arne Jacobsen diseñó la lámpara AJ para el SAS Royal Hotel de Copenhague (actual Radisson Collection) en 1957.

Hoy día, la serie AJ se considera como el diseño que ha hecho famoso en todo el mundo a este arquitecto danés.



En combinación con la lámpara de suspensión AJ Royal, la lámpara AJ formaba parte del concepto de diseño global que Jacobsen ideó para el hotel.

Arne Jacobsen no solo diseñó el hotel hasta el más mínimo detalle para SAS, sino que diseñó también casi todo el mobiliario del hotel y otros objetos utilitarios.



La silueta de la lámpara AJ, con sus líneas rectas y su combinación de ángulos oblicuos y rectos hace una clara referencia a los edificios del diseñador.

I'd give 4 1/2 if there was one. The shelves thwmself are nice I just don't like the visible little black set screws. The shelves themself look great and are not wobbly at all if you install correctly. I purposely installed the bracket upside down because of the little black setting screws; I didnt want them showing because the shelves are above eye level and the screws are black and I didn't want them showing. But that made the shelf lean amd wobbly so I turned them back over the way they are supposed to be and that made them level and sturdy. I guess I'll paint the little screws.
