It is documented that he died in 323 B.C., but the date of his birth has been given as 404 B.C. and 412 B.C. My stage play concerns many of the statements that Diogenes had made throughout his life- verbatim. However, some of the story that I have woven may or may not be true, but as a plot for a hero, I think it works.
