The Hollyland Solidcom M1 Replacement Beltpack (Model: HL-M1BP01) is an official, professional-grade spare transmitter designed to expand or replace a wireless unit in your existing Solidcom M1 intercom grid.

Built with an impact-resistant, scratch-proof matte finish and a double-injection molded housing, this compact beltpack is engineered to survive drop damage on fast-moving broadcast, film, theater, and church production sets.

Key Capabilities & Transmission Features

  • 1.9 GHz DECT Wireless Interference Block: Operates on the professional 1.9 GHz DECT frequency band. This isolates your crew's audio loops completely from the heavily congested 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands used by local Wi-Fi, wireless video transmitters, and stage smart devices.

  • Massive 1,300-Foot Line-of-Sight Footprint: Features a fully integrated dual-antenna layout hidden inside the chassis frame, pushing full-duplex (simultaneous two-way talk/listen) communication across a 1,312-foot (450-meter) line-of-sight radius.

  • Dual Headset Interface Options: Uniquely versatile, the beltpack features two physical audio inputs. It accepts both standard 3.5mm TRRS mini-jacks and professional broadcast 8-pin locking LEMO-style connectors on the same frame.

  • Instant Tactile Team Grouping: The face of the pack features a bright HD LCD screen displaying battery metrics and signal strength, paired with independent, differently shaped tactile buttons. This allows operators to toggle between three independent communication groups (e.g., lighting, camera, or stage hands) completely by touch without looking down.

How to Pair Your New Spare Beltpack to the Base Station

A new spare beltpack will not communicate with your intercom hub automatically out of the box. You must sync it using one of two quick methods:

Method A: Wired USB Connection (Fastest)

  1. Turn on the new beltpack.

  2. Connect a standard USB-A to USB-C cable from one of the USB type-A ports on the back of your Solidcom M1 Base Station Hub directly into the bottom USB-C port of the new beltpack.

  3. The Base Station screen will automatically detect the connection and display a pairing prompt. Choose an available slot number (1 through 8 for a single base station; 9 through 16 if cascading two units) and click confirm. The pairing completes in seconds.

Method B: Over-the-Air Manual Sync

  1. On the new beltpack, press and hold the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to access the firmware main menu screen.

  2. Scroll to and select Pair.

  3. Go to your central Base Station Hub menu, select the corresponding pairing utility slot, and execute. The status bars will flash until they lock solid, confirming the link.

Battery Rotation Maintenance Tip: The Solidcom M1 beltpacks utilize the high-capacity HL-LBAT1500 battery block. While a battery is rated for up to 6 hours, dropping a fully drained pack onto the master 8-slot docking charging tray will recover the power level back to 100% in roughly 2.5 hours. Keeping a pair of spare batteries on the charging tray allows you to perform instant hot-swaps mid-production without interrupting multi-hour shoots.

Polished Everyday Crossbody, Though Priced Like a Designer-Branded Bag
Color: Vanilla/Acorn
This crossbody bag has a clean, classic look that works well for everyday use, errands, travel, or casual outfits where you want something more polished than a basic purse. The north-south shape gives it a slim profile, so it does not feel overly bulky, but it still has enough room for daily essentials like a phone, wallet, keys, small cosmetics, cards, and other small items. The zipper closure is a practical feature because it keeps everything more secure than an open-top bag, especially when walking around, shopping, or traveling. The front and back zippered pockets are also useful for items you want quick access to, like a phone, receipt, lip balm, or transit card. I like that the layout keeps the bag organized without making it feel complicated. The material is mostly PVC with some polyester and polyurethane, so it has more of a coated designer-bag feel rather than soft genuine leather. That makes it easier to wipe clean and more resistant to everyday marks, but buyers should know they are paying more for the brand/style than for leather construction. The bag feels structured and presentable, but it may not have the same long-term aging or softness as a real leather crossbody. For comfort, the crossbody style is convenient because it keeps your hands free and distributes weight better than carrying a small handbag by hand. It is best for people who want a stylish everyday bag, not someone looking for a large tote or something that can carry bulky items. For pricing, similar branded crossbody bags usually range from about $80–$200, depending on the brand, size, material, and whether it is leather or coated canvas/PVC. At around $180, this is on the premium side for a PVC-blend crossbody, but it is fairly typical for the Michael Kors price range. Overall, it feels worth considering if you like the style and brand name, but value-focused buyers may want to compare sale prices or color options before paying full price.
