Solomon was born in 1784 in Ulster County, New York, the younger brother of Simon Sinsabaugh, subject of an earlier volume in this series. Solomon was the grandson and great-grandson of Sensebach immigrants who had arrived in Colonial New York from the County of Wied on the Rhine River a half century earlier. He married Catharine Deyo; in their early years the couple lived in Orange, then Sullivan County, New York. By 1830 they settled in Tompkins County, New York; many of their descendants lived in and around the county seat of Ithaca. This book traces and tells the stories of four generations of Solomon and CatharineÕs descendants.
This is the eighth volume in the Sensebach Family Genealogy Series.
