After spending more than a third of 2009 touring the United States and Europe, including a month-long tour supporting Bonnie "Prince" Billy, PILLARS AND TONGUES returned to Chicago and executed, in two days, Lay of Pilgrim Park. Recorded primarily live, Lay of Pilgrim Park reads like a map, like a document of a certain space. Rich string textures molded by violinist BETH REMIS and bassist EVAN HYDZIK and fluid vocal improvisations by all three members of the trio flow alongside deep, primal, danceable grooves; percussionist/singer MARK TRECKA's bold lyrical enterprises, styled like a cross between Pandit Pran Nath and Tim Buckley, explore concepts of constant mystery, the impossibility of absolute knowledge, and the purging of those unwanted or crippling things acquired along the way. The music on this record is not easily situated within genre constraints, but has drawn comparisons to music as varied as Dirty Three, Dead Can Dance, the Bulgarian State Radio & Television Female Vocal Choir and Moondog. Pillars and Tongues has shared the stage with a great variety of artists, from Tuvan throat-singing icons Chirgilchin to feral instrumental-rock pioneers the Dirty Three. This Empty Cellar release of Lay of Pilgrim Park marks the band's first time on vinyl. This LP comes with a free CD-quality digital download of the entire album. Limited to 500 copies. Don’t hold up/good Customer Service.

Please read full review. Where to begin. The boots are comfortable, decent waterproofing, they feel/look well constructed. Unfortunately they did not hold up well, I hikes less than 10 times. My left foot began to hurt on top near bottom of the lace, I tried every lacing method and it still hurt, leading to potential blisters. It was not a break in issue the boots were initially comfortable to wear then around hike 6 they hurt.
Reached out to the company they were partially helpful offering a coupon on their website. Their shoes are significantly higher in price on their website. It could have been a lemon pair of boots. Buy with caution.
Updated: 4/9/26-CS reached out to me and offered full refund or new pair of boots. I do hike often so I went with the new pair of boots. I will create a new review in the future /update this review. A+ for their CS. Initial review was 2 stars I increased to 3 stars if these boots hold up the score will go higher.

Durable, Long-Lasting, Doesn’t Fade in the Sun!!!

I’ve had this grill cover for almost a year now. But it last summer and it has been on my grill that is on open porch (no roof/overhang/cover protect protecting it from the elements). This particular area of the porch gets a ton of direct sunlight all day long as well.
Needless to say, I am incredibly impressed by the material of this cover. It looks almost brand new even after a year of use and exposure to the elements. The fact that it didn’t even get faded in the sun a little bit blows my mind.
Great product and excellent value! Highly recommend.
