Most of the sets are solid or colored so there is no need to expect a change at all, but some have clear transparent bottoms that will turn amber. I write this because some of our chess sets may not sell for a year or two and the photos are taken when the item is listed online. Meaning the photos will have slight difference. LOVE this book- great for giggles

We checked this book out at the library and my son (4 y/o) instantly loved it. We read it to my daughter (6 y/o) and she loved it too. It’s comical without being too in your face. The drawings are hilarious and you can’t help but love Duck. It’s super simple in terms of plot, but expertly silly. It’s all in the deliver of the reader so make sure you draw attention to the pictures (passage of time, facial reaction, etc), emote, and have fun with it. I would say this is great for children 4-10. And I believe most 7-8 year olds could read independently with relative ease depending on their level.
