This piece is beautiful in any of our solid hardwoods and finished with a hand-rubbed Danish oil; English Oak Stain (if Quarter Sawn White Oak wood); or a lovely rich Mahogany Wash is another finish option if selecting natural cherry hardwood.

*Solid walnut was the wood chosen for our prototype piece. Our craftsmen experimented with a process by which the natural wood grain of solid walnut would be slightly darker. An aniline dye stain was then applied to the walnut, actually dying the wood. The piece was finished with a clear Danish oil.
