Featuring a striking and eye-catching colour palette, the artist has worked in a Naïve style, reminiscent of Modern British artists like Alfred Wallis. There is something very endearing about this painting, from its patterning and arrangement to its playfulness with scale. A patterned vase is at the forefront of this picture, and its patterns and colours echo the patterns and colours of the wall in the background.
