The OPS GEN 2: A Simplified Evolution in Engine Protection

The OPS GEN 2 is engineered to extend the life of diesel engines while saving customers time and money through reliable oil filtration. Where the Eco-Pur utilized an integrated evaporator to remove liquid contaminants, the OPS GEN 2 embraces a more straightforward design. Diesel engines produced since the mid-to-late 2000s are now capable of naturally evaporating many of these contaminants during operation, allowing the OPS GEN 2 to deliver world-class filtration without the added cost of an evaporator system.


GEN 2 HEAD UNIT

The simplified head design of the OPS GEN 2 allows for versatile mounting positions on the frame, thanks to its operation under constant oil pressure. As modern engines have advanced, now capable of evaporating many contaminants during normal operation, the need for an external evaporator has been eliminated. This refinement enables us to reduce the overall cost of the head unit while maintaining the world-class filtration performance that OPS systems are known for.

It froths, but is not dependent

While this frother does “froth”, it has many more cons than pros. The ONLY pro is it froths. The cons—only good for a traditional coffee cup. It is not water proof, and the instructions say to keep the “unit “ dry. As you froth, the liquid naturally raises height. If you are trying to use a Togo coffee mug, or thermos type travel mug—it only works well if done it three or four levels to ensure keeping the motor above the liquid. The “rechargeable “ function DOES recharge, however- it may last 1use or a few. It’s VERY inconsistent. And does not seem to be related to how long you allow it to charge. Overall—not a good buy. I had mine maybe 3 months before it quit working. And at 2 months it started becoming spastic. Even after just being charged-it wouldn’t even froth 1cup. AVOID!!
